Creating a Blog Icon
Step 1:
Download the original image to the desktop from your email account or camera.
Save to the desktop.
Step 2:
Connect to the advanced image editor at Aviary.com
http://www.aviary.com/tools/image-editor
Step 3: LOAD IMAGE
Click "Load an image file". Browse to the desktop and select original image.

Step 7: EXPORT/SAVE
Rename file with the following naming convention "LastName_FirstName"
Download the original image to the desktop from your email account or camera.
Save to the desktop.
Step 2:
Connect to the advanced image editor at Aviary.com

Step 3: LOAD IMAGE
Click "Load an image file". Browse to the desktop and select original image.

Step 4: CROP
Use the Rectangular Selection tool (left toolbar) to select the square you have chosen.
Go to Image --> Crop Selection to crop that section
Step 5: RESIZE
Go to Image --> Image Resize
Change width and height to 100
Uncheck "Constrain proportion"
Step 6: EDIT
Adjust Levels, and Brightness/Contrast (Image drop down menu).
Experiment with Brush, Paint Bucket, and Text tools (left tool bar).
Select JPG from drop down menu
Leave quality and matte at default
Click "Generate Image"
Click "Download"
Rename file with the following naming convention "LastName_FirstName"
Step 8: TURN IN VIA EMAIL
Email to Ms. Martin - KTMartin@mbusd.org
Subject line - Your name, Period #
